The 44 became known as the 888 with a lower edge, one of the best undersized yo-yo's available. Now a special version has burst onto the scene, loaded with hubstacks.
Its detailed specs and high quality feeling have been preserved; only the addition of hubstacks and the new color options distinguish this special edition from the regular 44. It retains a decent body weight, which should leave undersized yo-yo fans resting assured that the 44 special will spin to their satisfaction. Now you have a really tough choice: do you go for the 888 with its tight control, or the 44 Special, with its incredible spin?
If you wish, you can remove the hubstacks and apply a knob cover for a feeling very close to the regular 44. Now you can have your cake and eat it too!
