Description
Core Concept Yoyos - Alleycat 650b
A classic shape for classic play, realized in high-end full metal. This is the second edition of the Alleycat.
With the power and precision of a full metal construction, Alleycat brings back the old school fun of narrow tug-response play that feels both new and nostalgic. A throwback to the popular style around late 2010, the Alleycat even makes use of the size A bearing that was popular at the time for tug response yo-yos.
Named for a rigorous underground bicycle messenger race known as the Alleycat race, the concept of bucking the trends of the mainstream in both the bicycle and yo-yo worlds, that share spinning in common. The "650b" in the name is a nod to the bicycle's rim size, and indicates a change in diameter from the original Alleycat yo-yo.
A gentle curve graces the mostly-flat side face, a nod to the modern trend of concave side profiles for fingerspin techniques. As a tug response yo-yo, the Alleycat has a fierce responsiveness that will favor regeneration tricks in your practice.
With its powerful concept of breaking from the modern trends, you may get stuck on the Alleycat and not want to go back to a normal string trick yo-yo!
*the substance on the bearing in the images is bearing grease, designed to improve the yo-yo's responsiveness.
