For beginners and string trick players, the Starfly is a great budget model.

As you can tell from the cost alone, the Starfly is a great model for beginners, but its rather wide gap also makes it a great throw for experienced string trick players as well. The Starfly isn't just suited for simple beginner's tricks like Elevator and Moonsault, it's capable of much more complicated ones.

The Starfly comes with a simple user's manual, which explains not only the yo-yo's proper maintenance, but also how to perform simple tricks, making it especially well suited for beginners.

With use, you'll notice the yo-yo will stop responding as readily as it used to. When this happens, some Hyper Yo-Yo Maintenance Vaseline will come in handy. There's a section in the user's manual for this, and we have our own description here as well.
