2009 5A US Champion, Miguel Correa's signature Genesis is one of YYF's new standards in high performance yo-yos, sporting a two-block straight H-profile. As a 5A player, Correa has designed the Genesis with a dice in his hand, making it a joy to hold with a counterweight. Another peculiarity is that the yo-yo is a little narrow, considering its diameter.

The thick outer rim gives a lot of spin, for longer trick combos. Genesis has the lowest edge in YoYoFactory's lineup, and it is such a popular model that even other members of Team YoYoFactory practice with it. Although this is a Premium series yo-yo, it is considerably more affordable with a price closer to YYF's Fundametal line. Considering the potential the Genesis has, there's no doubt that it's a great value.

This PLAY edition comes with the new YYF PLAY DVD, which includes instructions from attaching the string to basic tricks and bind techniques, making this an ideal gift for a new player. The DVD is made in the states, and is all in English, but it's made so that anyone can follow it.
