2009 US National 5A Champion Miguel Correa's signature model. Its H-profile is broken into blocks at different angles; its angular shape is its greatest visual distinction from other yo-yos. Usually, a larger diameter translates to a wider gap, but the Genesis gap isn't TOO wide, considering its diameter. Rumor has it that this stemps from Correa's preference for 5A play--the slightly narrower gap makes it easier to handle the yo-yo and dice with the same hand.

The thick outer rim gives a lot of spin, for longer trick combos. Genesis has the lowest edge in YoYoFactory's lineup, and it is such a popular model that even other members of Team YoYoFactory practice with it. Although this is a Premium series yo-yo, it is considerably more affordable with a price closer to YYF's Fundametal line. Considering the potential the Genesis has, there's no doubt that it's a great value.
