YoYoFactory - California 2010
This is the 2010 series edition of YoYoFactory's California yo-yo. Compared to the previous version, the main differences are the blast finish for a slightly more matte surface, and the body shape has been modified slightly, making is closer to the Tactic in size and body shape. The California's hubstacks have been removed, and they are no longer an option, in an effort to lighten the center and increase spinning power (the side is similar to the Genesis and DV888).
It's relatively lightweight but plays like a heavier yo-yo; we can easily recommend this model to those who like a heavier yo-yo with a round shape. Although low edges are the current trend, serious players who like a higher edge will appreciate the California 2010's design. YoYoFactory has sold many full metal yo-yos to date, and this one has probably the most standard wing shape of them all. A straightforward, simple design, with just the California license plate logo on the side of the rim. Very classy.
