Description
yoyorecreation - CLASH 2012
The original CLASH is refined in this third edition model.
Starting with the first CLASH in 2009, each year has seen minor refinements to the commemorative model for the annual contest in Japan. This edition starts with the same 70g base as the original, but incorporates the raised axle area seen on the Gleipnir and E=mc2. This feature isn't a "raised" area, but actually, comes from the surrounding area being shaved down to reduce weight in the center of the yo-yo. The area that appears raised is there for the sake of the axle system underneath. YYR has been pushing the envelope, reducing everything to its minimal form in order to get the most function out of it. The result is superb stability and power.
Despite the 70g body weight, the CLASH this year is said to have a light, nimble feeling. The CLASH still has the deliberate smoothness of a heavier yo-yo, but moves with great ease and agility. This makes it a great for newcomers to the heavyweight class. With its great stability, the CLASH is not only well suited for 1A players, but top 5A and 3A players have fallen in love with this yo-yo.
*A percentage of sales go to the 44CLASH fund, set aside to help make the event even better next year.
