Description

Werrd - Hour

A tall, thin addition to the Werrd lineup.

A rare coloring and rare material creates a rare yo-yo. The Hour has an unusual sense of proportions, and the artwork on the side is inspired by London's Big Ben. Within the world of string trick yo-yos, the catch zones inevitably widen to aid in landing tricks, which spreads out the weight distribution. The Hour keeps its width narrow, which keeps the weight close to the center and also keeps the yo-yo spinning strong.

The Hour is made from durable 7075 aluminum, also used in aircraft manufacture. It's loaded with a Center Trac bearing.

Just ok

Not sure if I'm the only one who thinks this, but this yo has a very short sleep time. Tested a Kk, CBC, and airg bearings and can't get this yo to sleep longer than 2:10 minutes on test throws. It seems like a bad design to me. Instead of carving out places for fhz caps to fit in they should have just left the extra aluminum there for more rim weight. Either way I believe the low price point is due to the sub par spin time. Other than that this guy will regenerate well and stay stable during your tricks, just don't expect to be doing any super long combos with this one.

Kick ass throw and dirt cheap

Nice solid throw, good spin time and stability. I'm not a big fan of the response pads that Werrd uses, really slippy binds, but some flowable silicone fixes that. As an added bonus Duncan freehand zero caps fit perfectly!
