LCY is short for Low Cost Yo-yo, and this is indeed a low-cost but high-quality model, the most affordable offering from Bist, the Italian maker known as the Ferrari of yo-yos.

The third in Bist's LCY series, the LCY3 is the most affordable offering from the Italian maker. Based on the design of their standard Hydra 2, and have remade their popular model without sacrificing any of its performance. Don't be fooled by it's pricetag, Bist has put every bit as much love and attention into this model as its more pricey brethren. Slightly heavy with a lot of spinning power, with a single golden coating and no engravings, LCY3 is encaptivating with its simplicity. It has a line detail on the side, so even with its plain design it still has a strong presence.

Aside from the maker's own pads, YYR Silicone pads (large thick) and Large Slim K-Pads can also be used. There might be a slight crevice on the outer edge of the pad, but this will not affect playability.
