String trick yo-yos, starting with wide gaps and large bearings, then metal rims and the spread of full metal bodies have caused a revolution in string tricks in the past 10 years. As a result, string trcks themselves has also seen radical growth in depth and complexity. Looping yo-yos haven't been so fortunate, and haven't received as much attention as their younger brothers. As a result, looping tricks have also stagnated a little bit. It takes so much practice just to get the basics of two-handed looping down, among the 5 major yo-yo divisions, it is famous for having the steepest learning curve.

"That's so cool! But no way can I do it" is probably the most common reaction we see to a 2A freestyle, and that way of thinking has kept the number of 2A players rather low, and keeping trick development at a standstill in recent years. Loop 900 is Team Shaqler's signature model. Up until now, the professional's preferred model was a modified Yomega Raider, loaded with a Plastic spacer. As powerful a combination as this was, it required a very specific setting that couldn't be reversed. The difficulty of getting this setting right coupled with its destructive effect on the yo-yo make it even harder for people to get a taste of a professional grade looping yo-yo. The Loop 900 was developed to exceed these capabilities without requiring extensive knowledge or tools. With the professional's settings at heart, the 900 comes loaded with a nylon spacer, giving you a top class looping yo-yo right out of the package. Just regulating the string length can change the feeling, and from the beginning it's a great model for beginners and professionals alike. For those who really want to fine tune their yo-yos, the Loop 900 comes with a key that you can use, not to open the yo-yo, but to adjust its responsiveness.
