Duncan - Metal Racer
This tug-response capable full metal yo-yo is perfect for beginner to intermediate players.
Out of the box, the Metal Racer is a bind-response yo-yo, but add a little bit of Duncan's beginner oil to increase make it tug-responsive (you can also use YYF's Performance Loop/Response Oil, or the Joker Looping Lube to achieve similar results). Being able to support beginner to intermediate players is the great value of the Metal Racer.
Most full metal yo-yos these days have low edges to minimize sleep loss, but the Metal Racer's body is similar to plastic yo-yos with a high edge, to accommodate the quick response necessary for tug-response play. This means that players who are used to plastic models will feel comfortable when they pick up the Metal Racer.
When you throw the Metal Racer, it has a surprising weight to it despite being under 60 grams. And you can increase the weight by about 5 grams by installing the included weight rings, giving even more power than before!
You can also modify your Metal Racer to be a wide model by using the YYF Axle #25 and Mod Spacer (SG Sticker Type).
*The plating on the caps is very easy to rub off, so please be careful when handling/removing them.
