Description
YoYoFactory - Offstring
The off string yo-yo that can be completely disassembled. Combine with the Pocket Change for even more potential.
Currently, the most popular style of yo-yos are twist-apart style, where you just unscrew the sides to open the yo-yo. The Offstring breaks with this trend, and not only twists apart from the side caps, but the entire yo-yo can be taken apart and its parts can be switched out. In addition to the off string body, this yo-yo comes with smaller rims to be used for 1A play. The Offstring has broad wings for great spinning power and a large catch zone, for long, difficult tricks.
You can even exchange parts with those from YYF's Pocket Change for even greater performance. The main internal difference between the Offstring and Pocket Change is while the Offstring uses a 2-hole response system, Pocket Change employs a silicone response pad and has a broader gap. In other words, if you take the response system from the Pocket Change and add the rubber rims from the Offstring, you'll create an off string yo-yo with superior smoothness and response. This is a rare setting to see, but it displays a lot of potential.
A great option for those who like the 2-hole response system, but want to test silicone pads as well. Click here for the Pocket Change
