This is the yo-yo that YoYoFactory released for the 2010 World Yo-Yo Contest that became the topic of great debate in the blink of an eye. At this price, no one expected a yo-yo with this performance to be possible. Its spinning power is impressive, to say the least. The secret to its power is the metal rim weight tucked on the inside of the outer ring. Its plastic sheathing makes the yo-yo very durable, and it's not a huge issue if you abuse it a little bit. With the simple design with little ornamentation, YYF has brought all this to us at an outrageously low cost.
It has no printing on it, and though its design is simple, it's very effective; a lot of people were captivated by this yo-yo at Worlds. It kind of has the look of a toy assembled from spare parts, which tickles the fancy of many yo-yo players, old and young.
The Legendary Protostar and Grind Machine continue their legacy with the Replay. It's perfect for binding practice or light practice outdoors. Looks great in a F.A.S.T. Holder!
