Description
Turning Point - Turning Point Repro
10 years after their first release, Turning Point's very first model by the same name gets a "reproduction" release.
The original "Turning Point," the first model released by Japan's first competition yo-yo maker, has been re-released by its owner and designer, Kentaro Kimura. Especially at the time it was first released, but even by today's standards, you can see how the Turning Point was ahead of its time, and still competitive today with its small, wide-bodied design.
The shape of the original has been left alone, with a great degree of balance and precision. Turning Point has even stuck with the same "Broad Size" response pads as the first generation, to capture as much of the original playfeel of the first Turning Point as possible.
The Turning Point Repro celebrates the birth of Turning Point, the spearhead of full metal yo-yo that pierced the competition scene and left it forever changed. Now you can hold a piece of that history in your hand, and feel the potential and appeal that it still holds today.
