With a POM ring in the inner edge, the Tsunami sports a unique design and color options for a metal rimmed yo-yo.

It's easy to be swept up in the bimetal craze, but it's important to remember that the original combination that started it all was plastic and metal, known as "metal rim" yo-yos. There are endless combinations of materials that have been put together to find the best recipe. In the Tsunami, YoYo Empire is bringing together POM plastic and stainless steel, a popular choice for higher end throws that don't go full metal.

The body is made of engineering plastic and the heart is made of POM, well known for having an especially smooth, warm texture to it. The stainless rim of course adds power like a turbo pack, concentrating mass on the outer rims creating long, stable sleeps. These two materials come together nicely in the Tsunami, and a separate POM inner rim forms the response edge. This addition makes for an interesting design that really stands out. A high-walled scoop on the sides supports fingerspin tricks, giving you plenty of options to practice.
