Top Yo's first off string model uses a size A bearing
Starting in 2010, Top Yo has consistently released an impressive lineup of full metal yo-yos, and now the Nebula is their first off string model. Like the Double Zero, Nebula sports an deeply undercut H-profile.
The pairing of this unusual shape with the size A bearing makes the Nebula a very unique throw. Despite the light weight, Nebula has a powerful and steady spin that's hard to knock off balance. Compared to other off string models, the Nebula seems particularly well suited for long combos using orbits, tosses, and boingy boingy style tricks. For strings, we recommend something like the K-String Fat Type, and play with the string cut a little on the long side.
The Nebula comes with original Eagle Eye pads, we recommend replacing them with pads of the same size. Also, out of the box it uses the smallest shim it comes with (silver). You can replace the shim with the larger red or blue shims to increase the gap width and control responsiveness.
