Description
Japan Technology - Another Eagle 2
This version of the Another Eagle was machined from the same engineering plastic as the Gull Wing.
Based on Japan Technology's flagship model, the Eagle Eye, they took the engineering plastic used for the Gull Wing and used it to create this new variation on the Eagle series.
Compared to the Eagle Eye, the big difference is in the material's density and durability. Like the difference between aluminum and titanium, engineering plastic manages to be much lighter and more durable than standard plastics. This allows the maker to cut weight in places they want lighter, which can have a huge effect on performance. With slight differences in the side face, the diameter has also been increased by 1mm. Always pushing the envelope of what's possible, we can rely on Japan Technology to continue to push the limits of what our yo-yo materials can do!
From the Maker
Based on our flagship model, EAGLE EYE, we decided to make yet another variation of the Another Eagle, but this time using engineering plastic instead of POM.
The change in material means a change in potential, so we had to tweak the design of the yo-yo to make the most oif it. We slightly increased the diameter, bumping up the speed. We refined the shape to make it better for finger spins, and retained the beautiful, light feeling of the original Eagle Eye. Other slight improvements include the design around the response area, minimizing spin loss. Each throw of the Another Eagle 2 just feels right! Give it a throw and tell us what you think.
