A 7068 aluminum body with a stainless steel rim makes the Oni a devil in the sheets!
Proof that design is everything, the stainless steel inner rim of the Oni (meaning "devil" in Japanese) presses its mass outward, giving it both an incredible sense of power and a playfeel that bends to your will. Behind that steel rim is a body machined from 7068 aluminum, even more dense and durable than the 7075 alloy used in most high-end models.
Adopting an H-profile similar to that of the much larger Bakemono, the Oni has a much more reasonable full sized body. The resulting playfeel is like a nimble heavyweight, easy to control despite its mass. We find this mysterious combination mystifying, and a joy to throw. Oni brings the advantages of heavy yo-yos without sacrificing any control; we really hope you get a chance to feel it for yourself.
