The Agonist is a bimetal version of the Checkmate.

The Checkmate is yoyomonster’s flagship model, and the Agonist introduces a new flavor to that as a bimetal variation. “Bimetal” refers to a yo-yo that uses different materials to comprise the body. The Agonist uses durable but light aluminum for the main body, and the outer rim sports a shiny brass ring, adding weight just where you need it for even more spin time than before. The Agonist is a true upgrade for the already spectacular Checkmate, and is a top-class yo-yo in its own right.
