The Luminous shows us that there's no end to the development of yo-yo design and technology. With the DoubleJoker's basic shape as its base, the Luminous uses the almighty standard shape and size set by its predecessors, for universal appeal.

Luminous is the first new model to sport the YoYoJoker Core Axle, reinforced to give a tight sense of unity between the body and bearing. With this new axle, your'll feel more connected than ever to the power packed into your yo-yo. The benefits from this new axle can not be seen, they can only be felt. The Luminous comes set with a KonKave bearing, so you can feel its full potential from the first throw. Of course, the yo-yo's most notable new characteristic is mostly cosmetic: the colored acrylic ring on the outer rim gives a new sense of aesthetics to the Luminous, and casually adds a new splash of color to your play. Because the acrylic is clear, the body color shines through, changing the perceived coloring of the ring. Under a black light, the ring will shine brightly, combining quite nicely with highlight string.

A note from the maker: We do strict wobble-testing on all of our yo-yos, and although Luminous is a fine, stable model, the acrylic ring can sometimes give the yo-yo the slightest shake in its spin. This is very slight, and nowhere near enough to affect play.
