Description
yoyorecreation - Mr.Butcher
Mr.Butcher is 2004 and 2005 5A Japan National champion, Hiroyasu Ishihara's signature model.
The Mr.Butcher possesses a unique feeling amongst the yoyorecreation lineup. It's the first signature model for Hiroyasu Ishihara, former Japan National champion in the 5A division. The secret to that unique feeling is that in the pursuit of the ultimate counterweight yo-yo, Ishihara spent two year rigorously testing and reworking the design through a grueling series of trial and error. Most yo-yos, in the pursuit of top spin, press their weight out into the sides, usually thickening the rims as it moves to the edge. Mr.Butcher turns that on its head, and maintains a uniform thickness throughout the entire body.
The result is a very effective throw for all styles of string play, and a yo-yo that's incredibly easy to control, despite its heavy-sounding 67 grams.
Of course it's well suited for speedy play, but Mr.Butcher exudes a new "yoyorecreation-ness" that puts high priority on feeling and control. Whether you're an old fan of YYR or not, you'll be moved by the level of control you'll feel with their yo-yos in your hand.
*Minor blemishes on the body are results of the manufacturing process. The aluminum used for YYR yo-yos is incredibly durable but difficult to anodize, which sometimes results in cosmetic imperfections. These have no affect on play.
