BASECAMP - Navigator

Improving mobility with a midship weight, Navigator is BASECAMP's first bimetal model.

BASECAMP has brought together aluminum and steel to make the Navigator. Its body is the standard 6061 aluminum allow, with the body shape of the Kodiak, but with the addition of a stainless steel midship weight.

Even before release, the Navigator has quite a few fans from both makers' teams. The bimetal design of course gives the benefit of longer spin, but the Navigator even manages to give even more control to the player, so it responds to a light touch and it has itself a light feeling during play. Either way, the design is awesome and well-balanced; whether it's your first bimetal yo-yo or just your next one, the Navigator will see you through.

The BASECAMP logo is engraved on the rim.

Leading the pack on this Basecamp excursion is our first ever bimetal design - Navigator. A collaborative design, the Navigator sets the bar for performance, combining long spins with extremely fast play and on-string stability. A smooth matte finish and brushed rims are used for insanely long grinds as well as minimal spin loss when the yoyo bumps your hand during long combos.
