The Silvia seriesThe "XP" in the name refers to "Experimentation" needed to develop it. The "50" is the yo-yo's diameter, identifying this variant as the "undersized" twin. While yo-yo design used to call for a larger diameter in the pursuit of power and stability, with modern precision high-end makers have closed the gap, producing undersized yo-yos that throw like their much larger brethren, but with the added benefits that small yo-yos bring to the table.

Riding high on the success of the Skyva, Luftverk set its sights on uprooting other concepts regarding yo-yo size. Re-examining the balance of traditional designs and their "common knowledge," Luftverk created a full titanium yo-yo for the next generation of performance player. AMS2488 Type II is an SAE coating used as a dry lubricant. Its applications include military and medical instruments around the world as an anti-galling agent. The surface is incredibly slick - comparable to the feel of Teflon.
The Silvia is the latest titanium yoyo with many new changes - mainly the shape. With the success of the Daytona, the design language was carried over to create a classic - modern design in a full organic shape.

The Silvia comes in two variants - 50mm and 54mm as dictated by the names. They both weigh very similar with the biggest difference being the diameter. This was done to see how different diameters effect the performance and feel of a yoyo, as well as to offer a choice for customers - either a fun zippy pocket throw, or a wider more competition oriented design. Both offer different experiences for different disciplines - the choice is yours.
