SPYY's intention is clear, Pro is for the pros. Their contest yo-yo also happens to look great in the process.
Sector-Y's video featuring SPYY's Zannix Wong shows some of the abilities of the Pro. As a top player in Hong Kong, he shows that the Pro is made for serious players. Its main feature is its short and stout body shape, with a wide gap compared to its diameter. Its catch zone is almost as wide as the yo-yo itself at 42mm. The weight is pushed out to the outer rim, and SPYY's usual center spike around the axle has been shaved down to a nub for a lighter center of gravity.
Its low edge and straight body also help keep sleep loss at a minimum. SPYY's latest model has certainly paid attention to the latest trends in professional yo-yos, and responded with this model. They kept production on the down-low, but the Pro already has a strong following in the contest scene.
SPYY has a tradition of having quality unique logo designs, and this time it's a Canadian maple leaf with a typographic solution.
