Description
Tom Kuhn - Roller Woody
This legendary, classic wooden yo-yo boasts an impressive sleep time.
Roller Woody, along with the Sleep Machine, was the first wooden yo-yo to use a metal ball bearing, giving it unheard-of sleep times and immeasurable impact on the yo-yo world. The result, beating the long sleeper world record by a factor of ten!
For toughness, long sleep times and stability, the body is made from hard maple. Although on the exterior, the Roller Woody may look like your standard, classical image of a yo-yo, it is still an impressive performer. It even has the Adjusting Screw, giving you the power to adjust its gap width; just a minor change can make a world of difference. Of course, it still uses the Tom Kuhn Turbo Discs for response. The inner body is engraved with instructions for winding the strings, showing a high attention to detail.
In a world of fixed gaps, the Roller Woody introduced real advances in yo-yo technology that are still just as important today as they were 10 years ago. The "rainbow" color option is made from a cross-section of different colored layers of veneer.
This yo-yo has a fully wooden body, and therefore its specs may have minor variations. Also, minor marks on the body are from the manufacturing process, thank you for understanding.
Comes with extra string (x5), Turbo Disc response pads (x4), Yo-Yo Pouch and instruction booklet (English).
