A true original, the legendary SB-2.
Tom Kuhn's pivotal entry to the yo-yo scene, the SB-2 was first full metal yo-yo released in the golden age of plastic yo-yos: the 90's. Standing for "Silver Bullet 2," the SB-2 followed up the SB-1, which had no ball bearing and suffered from poor spin. The SB-2 came loaded with a world-class ball bearing, and wanted for nothing.
It's hard to imagine a time when "full metal" was a revolutionary thought, but the SB-2 not only paved the road for future yo-yo design, it also incorporated an adjustable gap (through the Adjusting Screw), for a customizable feel. It's probably also safe to say that the SB-2 was the first yo-yo to get the splash color treatment. Of course, it also uses Tom Kuhn's Turbo Disc replacement stickers.
You can't ignore the effect the SB-2 has had on the community. It even has the distinction of being the yo-yo that went into space and was used to perform research on the International Space Station. A true original, other yo-yos have followed in its footsteps, but the SB-2 is unparalleled in looks and ability.
Use the included keychain to change the gap with the Adjusting Screw (in the bearing lock), just like a flathead screwdriver. You can insert the included power rings to the inner rims to adjust the weight.
Only 500 of the "ionizer" color variation. And of course they are also marked with serial numbers.
