YoYoJam - Destiny

Takeshi Matsuura's second signature model is destined for great things.

Team YoYoJam's young star, 2008-2010 5A World Champion Takeshi Matsuura already has his second signature model. Using his first signature model, the Ai as a base, the Destiny has YYJ's new plastic body + midship weight design.

The Destiny comes loaded with a thin bearing for a snappy tug response, making it a great choice for beginner to intermediate level players. The included Speed Bearing can be installed for advanced bind response. The high performance we enjoyed from the Ai is preserved in the Destiny, performing impressively for not just 5A, but for 3A and 1A play. The midship weight lends a lovely smooth sensation to the body, which is probably the most notable feature of the yo-yo itself.

In addition, the Destiny comes bundled with a special counterweight, designed by Takeshi's father (properly licensed by Duncan). The weight features its own ball bearing, through which the string passes and terminates with a small ball stopper at the end. The bearing keeps the twist in the string constant throughout play, making a whole new world of consecutive combo tricks possible. The included weight colors are random, and cannot be chosen.

Comes with one original weight and YoYoJam Speed Bearing.

Nicest 5a Yo-Yo ever played

Pros:
Have a very solid spin;
Durable, after hitting the floor not much impact (important for 5a)
When in motion spin long enough for 5a tricks - and it's a plastic;
The dice included helps A LOT with string tension;
Stable when moving fast - very nicely weighed
Cost-effective.
cons: can't do thumb/horizontal grind which add limitation to tricks;
The cap is not perfectly centered;
Dice-bearing very hard to clean, if lost the red plastic ball inside then the dice won't function (suggest to put 2 more plastic balls for example)
