The Sand Glass gets reborn in plastic.

The name PSG stands for "Plastic Sand Glass," a nod to the PSG's roots in the full metal Sand Glass of yesteryear. The PSG sports the same peculiar inverse round shape of the Sand Glass. Rare for a plastic yo-yo, the wide body gives it a stock setting that is very unresponsive, requiring a bind. This makes many difficult tricks very possible with the PSG, giving young players an inexpensive way to level up.

The PSG's signature inverse round shape is clearly designed to drastically reduce contact between the string and the yo-yo body, eliminating friction that slows down the spin. If you were having trouble finishing a complicated trick, you just might find it possible--or even easy--with the PSG.
