Description
YoYoFactory - Confusion GT
This wide edition of the Confusion is a chunky full metal tug-response yo-yo!
The full metal tug-response Confusion gets a wide treatment in the Confusion GT. The "GT" is a throwback reference to the PlayMaxx Proyo team's original weapon of choice, the metal Cold Fusion GT. If you know your yo-yo history, you may recall that YoYoFactory owner YoHans and staff member Ben McPhee were both demonstrators on that team.
Looking at it through the lens of modern design, the high edge stands out, rounding out to a classic wing shape. During play, you will be transported back to the 90's as the responsiveness and playfeel are true to the original Confusion. The response and feeling of that era's top-end yo-yo's is faithfully resurrected, but the Confusion GT boasts a 42mm wide body that was unheard of back in the day, bringing you a sense of nostalgia along with new possibilities through old concepts. A sense of the past is uniquely blended with modern techniques, and the result is intriguing to say the least.
Of course, compared to a bind-response yo-yo, the Confusion GT is not meant for the same level of complex string tricks, and we wouldn't recommend it if you're practicing your 1A freestyle for the modern contest stage. But if you like a unique challenge, then the Confusion GT is right up your alley. It's less "just what can I do with this?" and more "wow! This makes me want to try..."
Let your confusion be piqued!
