The engraved logo has the look of a brush painting, incorporating the Bist logo. B-Rush is short for Buttermouse-Rush, named for the yo-yo's designer. Bist has a reputation for building yo-yos like works of art, but they also show they they can make a high quality yo-yo, and not just an interesting-looking one. The biggest change from the first generation is the B-Rush weighs in 2 grams lighter. The design seems to target spinning power over control. It comes outfitted with Bist's original V Bearing. Comes with two replacement pads. Aside from the maker's own pads, YYR Silicone pads (large thick) and Large slim K-Pads can also be used. There might be a slight crevice on the outer edge of the pad, but this will not affect playability.
