The playfeel of a yo-yo is something that transcends the numbers; specs just can't capture what a yo-yo actually plays like. Two yo-yos with the same numbers will undoubtedly still feel different; sometime that's a bad thing, but not with this yo-yo. The Joyride's potential makes the most out of it!

Looking at the shape and specs, there's nothing that jumps out at you about this yo-yo. But during its pre-release at the 2015 World Yo-Yo Contest, many players were blown away by the way it feels. By the end of the weekend, practically all the players knew about Recess, and had taken a spin. The Joyride had such power for a monometal yo-yo, it made a lot of players rethink their professed love for bimetal. Not only did the Joyride have all the lovely qualities that metal offers in a powerful package, but also offers a sense of balance and control that show that Recess has really done their homework on this design.
