All yo-yos have passed the manufacturer's quality inspection. Quality standards vary by manufacturer. Basically, products that can be used normally are within product specifications.
Examples of possible initial defects
if the following symptoms occur immediately after opening, they may be initial defects:
(Bind models only) The bearing barely rotates even when flicked with a finger.
Even after dampening vibrations with a finger during play, the yo-yo vibrates so much that its shape appears distorted.
Parts that should be installed (bearings, pads) are not installed.
Examples that do not constitute initial defects
Package damage
Color differences from expectations
Bearing noise or bind model return issues that occur after even a few plays
Yo-yos that arrived properly assembled but cannot be reassembled after disassembly
Scratches on the inside of the bearing area, paint chips
Color variations on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance
Paint chips that are not noticeable from a distance
Scratches on the yo-yo that are not noticeable from a distance and barely detectable by touch
Minor rust on bearing surfaces of models that come pre-strung in the package (minor external rust has almost no impact on performance)
C3yoyodesign - Krown.st The Krown, reborn as a bimetal masterpiece.
Krown on REWIND comes with Shinya Kido's hand-written Autograph.
Shinya Kido's signature model, the Krown, has long been C3's signature series' most popular model. Now they've refined the Krown to incorporate the bimetal design that has proven itself on the Beserker SS. The logo on the side has been modified slightly: the ".st" refers to the new stainless steel rim combined with the 6061 aluminum body. This design has managed to combine the maneuverability of the original Krown with the power and stability of the Beserker SS.
Development started as soon as the Beserker SS was released: the main focus was the question of how they could draw out the unique advantages of both models, and this was realized through endless prototyping. Each prototype was separated by a single point of measurement as little as 0.1mm, ensuring that every possible combination of specs was tested. Though it took a lot of time, the result was a design that both players and the development team could agree was flawless.
Along with a change in shape, the diameter has been downsized a full millimeter. The standard interior measurements for gap width and the bearing lock, which C3 has developed over the years, was used as a foundation which they tweaked to ensure that the new Krown would fit into the hand and play in a way that is familiar for fans of the previous model. This guarantees a seamless transition for players who wish to upgrade.
The reborn Krown qualifies as a wide-type bimetal which has its own appeal. The rim eliminates high-speed woobles, immediately bumping your success rate for all tricks, from mounts on up.
Express yourself with the confidence that you are indeed holding the best yo-yo for you... the true value of that progression can be felt when you pick up the new Krown.
