Description
Auldey - Manual Acceleration
A whole new type of mechanism lives in this unusual yo-yo.
The Manual Acceleration contains a mechanism similar to a powerspring, making it a very unique yo-yo. The way you spin it is what makes it so unusual.
1. Press the button on the center of the side face so it is sticking out.
2. Hold the red plastic body and grip the clear plastic side cap on the other side, twisting it as if winding it up.
3. Once you're done winding, grip the clear plastic cap and again hit the button, and the yo-yo will release all that potential energy and spin furiously!
It doesn't matter which side you are holding onto, see this video to see how it's done.
You can get enough spin out of this mechanism to practice basic string tricks like blanco (rock the baby) and elevator.Since there's no standard response system, you can't really do the regular throw/catch play style. For this reason, it's kind of a misnomer to call this a true yo-yo, but for people just playing the real basics, and kids who aren't able to throw correctly, this can be a good crutch to help get them going
