"The 21st century's new form of combat: Yo-Yo Fist. Since the Stealth Ogre incident in 2013, team Sturm Panzer was disqualified from the league, and won't be present at the competition in 2014. But the dissolved team has turned their sights on a comeback in 2015. Young Ace, Kyoshiro Aoi was recruited by Marshall Industries and given their Leo Sniper prototype. His teammate, Reita Sugo, was given the Schneider (whose development had been frozen). Kyoshiro didn't take the Schneider very seriously. To teach him a lesson, Reita with his Schneider and Gouki with his Eclipse Ogre began to intensely work on their special move. Due to the coming exams, Reita is sitting out the next match. He puts his schoolwork before his yo-yoing, which Kyoshiro feels is a thread of sorts. Additionally, he has been putting distance between himself, Kasumi and Gouki. In the meantime, the Leo Sniper's battlefield options, known as Tactical Eye and Homing Booster, have been completed. Along with the Counter Grenade and the Sturm Clover, the next battlefield will be explosive for sure!"

Details / Differences from the Original Version

The LM Schneider has both a lighter body and rim weight than the original version. The original weighs about 69 grams in total (40 grams in the brass rim weight), while the LM weighs 63.5 grams in total (36 grams in the brass rim weight). Along with its size C bearing, straight body shape, and other specs, the LM Schneider was created to fulfill the needs of what is popular in the current (2014) competitive yo-yo scene. Most models in the Sturm Panzer lineup are designed to be distinct, unique throws, however the LM is the exception that is bound to suit all players' tastes. That means it loses some of its Sturm Panzer-like character, and is the reason it is not in the official lineup.

The original version had a slightly curved body, while the LM continues as a straight line where the body meets the rim. The new bearing is a Japan-made NSK gold bearing. The gold color of the bearing and the matching rim are not only a stark accent against the deep blue body, but the colors together are also one of Sturm Panzer's signature color combinations.

The bearing is a Japan-made NSK gold bearing. The initial condition of the bearing is the best, so we recommend that you use it as-is, and there is no need to clean the bearing until it gets dirty.

With regards to vibe, bimetal yo-yos are more susceptible to wobbling (vibe) due to the manufacturing process. All Sturm Panzer yo-yos are tested before shipping, and if the vibe is low enough to not effect playability, the yo-yo is considered to be good. Any yo-yo that fails this test is considered "B-Grade," and sold as an outlet item. Note that the potting caps (side caps) are applied after this test, which could indicate that the caps themselves could be causing some of the vibe. If you are feeling particular, you can remove the side caps to try to fix any potential vibe. In addition, if the bearing's condition becomes compromised (dirty) or the body is not fully screwed together properly, that may be another source of potential vibe. That vibe can be corrected by fixing the body assembly, removing the bearing and putting it back in, or slightly adjusting the position of the titanium axle. The titanium axle is attached with a low strength adhesive. You will need a hexagon tool to adjust or remove the axle. Please note that any adjustments made to the yo-yo are at your own risk.
