Palpitation is 2014 Japan National 1A champion, Takeshi Matsuura's signature model.
Takeshi Matsuura holds a remarkable number of titles for his age. 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013 Japan 5A champion; 2010 and 2011 AP 5A champion; 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, and now 2014 World 5A champion! And now, he's even claimed the 2014 Japan National 1A championship for himself, and took home second place at the World Yo-Yo Contest in Prague! This kid really gets around!
Takeshi used an Isotope 2 at his regional and national yo-yo contests, and the Palpitation is a refinement of that model, specifically designed for Matsuura.
The shape was slightly modified and the weight was bumped up a little, with fine adjustments to the weight distribution along the way. The result maintains the light feeling of the Isotope 2, with some added stability. If this yo-yo can live up to his demands, what more could you ask for?
