The Prominence is Takuma Inoue's first signature model.
2009 5A World Champion and 2011 Japan National Champion, Takuma Inoue's first signature model is the Prominence. It has an inverse round shape, but upon closer inspection you'll notice the Prominence has no curved sections, and is instead made up by a series of straight lines, making the body shape more polygonal. Similar to the famous Leviathan, the Prominence's bump response area cuts down on sleep loss. The large body further benefits from the thick rim, giving the yo-yo even more spinning power.
The Prominence has been designed to make "Top On" tricks where you balance the spinning yo-yo on one finger. The key to this design is that the Prominence's axle area is extra curved to accommodate your finger, making this trick style even easier. The Prominence is designed specifically for Inoue's style, and is appropriately named, not just for the large axle bump are, but as a reflection of Inoue's stand-out performances.
