yoyo monster. - 3Points
One of the driving forces behind the 1997 Hyper Yo-Yo Boom, Nakamura Meijin gets a new signature model.
And now, a note from Nakamura Meijin:

We thought about what kind of yo-yo we should make, and one of the things that occurred to us is the custom of yo-yo players carrying around their yo-yos to practice everywhere. This reminded us of how everyone carries around their cell phones, and it occurred to us, why not combine the two, and make a yo-yo you can attach to a cell phone? Of course, a normal sized yo-yo you can strap to your hip, but a mini yo-yo small enough for a cell phone strap? If you could really use it, we thought it would be really cool, and players could bust it out anywhere for a little practice or performance. With that thought in mind, we began to develop the 3Points.
3Points and Pi:
Pi is an important number in mathematics, with the value of roughly 3.14. We all learned this in grade school, and its importance to the circle makes it important to yo-yo players, whether we know it or not. So, we made the diameter of the 3Points 3.14cm, and the name comes from pi itself.

Amongst all the people of the '97 Hyper Yo-Yo Boom, no one is better known than Nakamura Meijin, and he's showing that he hasn't gone anywhere, collaborating with one of the cutting edge yo-yo makers in Japan to create a unique new concept. A yo-yo you can strap to your cell phone. As a special treat for the first run, the yo-yo comes with a strap designed to attach your 3Points to your cellphone, handmade by Nakamura Meijin himself! Also comes with an extra treat from the Meijin, a replacement axle decked out in rhinestones! The packaging is also special, a stylish black case with gold lettering.
